ABOUT THE THERAPIST
Cheryl Perry, M.A., LCMHCA, NCC, is a therapist providing virtual therapy in North Carolina.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Cheryl to create a custom website design, write her website copying, and create her logo and branding. The goal was to capture the essence of her practice: brave, inclusive, compassionate, warm, and professional.
Cheryl’s practice, Perry Wellness Counseling, is an inclusive and compassionate practice that strives to provide brave, warm, and professional therapy for individual and LGBTQIA+ adult clients.

Where are you located? Where do you serve?
I am located in Charlotte NC and I work with clients across the state of North Carolina.
The work I did with a therapist years ago during my divorce inspired me to become a therapist. I learned that while life may be difficult and include many obstacles, working with a licensed mental health counselor can help you create a path forward.
Who do you serve?
I support individual and LGBTQIA+ adults living with symptoms of stress, anxiety and life transitions.I feel honored to walk with my clients on their path of compassion and discovery.
What is your favorite part of working with clients or the process of therapy?
My favorite part of working with clients is watching them live a life that brings them joy.
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in working with adults to help them understand they are worthy of love and empathy and those qualities can be found within.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping adults understand the connection between mind and body. We see our physicians when we have symptoms and we can greatly benefit by working with a mental health counselor to learn tools to overcome life obstacles.
What sets your practice apart?
I think my ability to connect with people and provide a brave space for them to talk about uncomfortable parts of life.
