The New Change
The New Change is a psychotherapy practice based in California and Florida that provides specialized therapy for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
When Tamara De Angelis, LCSW, decided to evolve her therapy practice into a cash-pay model focused on the perimenopausal and menopausal experience, she knew it was time for a brand and website that reflected the depth of her work. Her mission was clear: to create a space where high-functioning, professional women could feel understood, validated, and empowered during one of life’s most vulnerable and transformative stages.
Tamara came to me ready to outsource the full experience—brand development, website design, copywriting, and resource design—so she could focus fully on her clients and clinical work. She didn’t want a generic therapy website. She wanted a strategic, custom-built platform that positioned her as an expert in a highly specific niche, communicated her unique voice, and gently guided prospective clients toward reaching out.
She envisioned something modern but warm. Clean, but not sterile. Informative, but never overwhelming. She wanted the entire experience—from the homepage scroll to a downloadable resource—to feel like a deep exhale.
Through a blend of thoughtful brand strategy, emotionally resonant copy, a calming yet sophisticated visual identity, and a seamless, intuitive Squarespace website design, we built an online home for The New Change that truly mirrors the way Tamara shows up in the therapy room: grounded, wise, empowering, and deeply human.
From her homepage messaging to her specialty service page and the Toolkit for Change resource, every detail was designed to help visitors feel seen, safe, and supported—and to remind them that midlife is not a breakdown… it's a breakthrough.
The Challenge
Tamara was in the midst of a business transition—shifting from insurance-based therapy toward a cash-pay model. She needed a brand and website that could hold space for this new chapter: one that reflected her specialized expertise in menopausal health, her deep empathy, and her commitment to integrative, whole-person care.
She wanted potential clients to feel:
Seen and understood
Safe and supported
Empowered and hopeful

The Approach
Brand Identity
We grounded the brand in calming, elevated tones—a palette inspired by soft sages, neutrals, and modern warmth—to reflect her clients’ desire for relief, rest, and groundedness. Fonts were chosen for their balance of professionalism and friendliness, leaning toward a minimalist-modern aesthetic that feels approachable but elevated.
Digital Resources
Tamara also wanted to offer practical tools to her audience right away. I designed digital resources like The Toolkit for Change, ensuring they matched the site aesthetic and provided immediate value that builds trust.
Copywriting
The voice throughout the site is empathetic, wise, and clear. From the homepage to the service pages, every word was written to mirror what Tamara’s clients are thinking but can’t always articulate. The tone needed to say, “You’re not crazy. You’re not alone. And there is a way forward.”
We leaned into messaging around:
Normalizing the physical and emotional experiences of menopause
Presenting therapy as a supportive and empowering option
Providing clear education and practical paths forward
Positioning Tamara as both a relatable guide and an expert
Website Design
The layout was designed to be clean and intuitive, with gentle visual flow and minimal distractions. We made space for deeper storytelling, easy navigation between specialties, and strong calls to action—so that prospective clients can move from overwhelm to clarity in just a few scrolls.
